The Canadian Chamber Choir is seeking individuals to join its Board of Directors. Connect with choral leaders and arts professionals from coast to coast, share your talents and perspectives, deepen your experience in nonprofit governance and the arts, learn alongside an engaged national team, and become part of a vibrant Canadian choral community – all while helping shape the future of a multi-JUNO-nominated vocal ensemble.
The CCC is currently recruiting for two volunteer Board positions:
Vice-Chair
A leadership role for someone who enjoys strategy, organization, collaboration, and helping people move shared priorities forward. The Vice-Chair works closely with the Chair, General Manager, and Board to support organizational planning, accountability, effective communication, and leadership continuity.
A great fit for someone with experience or interest in: governance, leadership, project management, organizational development, or nonprofit management.
Member-at-Large, Fundraising
A relationship-focused role for someone interested in helping strengthen the CCC’s fundraising and revenue-development network. This Director brings ideas and connections to the table, helps identify prospective donors, sponsors and partners, and contributes strategic fundraising insight – without being expected to lead the organization’s fundraising work independently.
A great fit for someone with experience or interest in: fundraising, philanthropy, sponsorship, donor relations, business development, or community partnerships.
Be Part of a National Choral Community
CCC Directors serve alongside colleagues from across Canada and have opportunities to learn, share their own expertise, expand their professional and choral networks, and contribute to an organization connecting artists and communities across the country.
The Board meets approximately monthly, with additional committee or project work throughout the year. Directors serve on a volunteer basis.
The Canadian Chamber Choir welcomes individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences, identities and perspectives from across Canada.
