The Canadian Chamber Choir’s latest tour takes the ensemble to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island for 10 music-filled days in August. Invited by the Nova Scotia Choral Federation to be the ‘choir-in-residence’ at its annual Adult Summer Camp, the CCC will be working with over 90 choral enthusiasts from August 15th to 19th at a church camp in Berwick, NS. In addition to leading mass choir rehearsals, artistic director Julia Davids and associate conductor Joel Tranquilla will lead workshops for ten participating choral conductors. CCC members will also share their myriad areas of expertise and experience during the week in ‘interest sessions’ on diverse topics such as music therapy, songwriting, and singing barbershop harmony!

Despite a busy teaching schedule during the week, the CCC will also present four public performances under the auspices of Musiqe Royale, a Nova Scotia-based presenting organization. Public performances will take place in Wolfville, Lunenburg, and Halifax, as well as a return performance at the Indian River Festival in Indian River, PEI. Ticket and venue information can be found on the Upcoming Events page.
