The Canadian Chamber Choir is thrilled to announce that its second CD entitled ‘Sacred Reflections of Canada – A Canadian Mass has been nominated for a Juno Award in the category of Classical Album of the Year: Vocal or Choral Performance.

Released in September of 2015, the album was produced by Jeff Reilly and features 17 Canadian composers whose works were curated by CCC artistic director Julia Davids to create a composite Canadian mass. The nomination marks a huge milestone for the choir, which was formed over 15 years ago and has toured determinedly to almost every corner of Canada to fulfill its mandate of ‘building community through choral singing’.

“I’m just thrilled and so honoured,” says Davids. “This nomination is a recognition of the generous and talented singers of the CCC, our amazing Canadian choral composers, and the incredible production/engineering team of Jeff Reilly and Rod Sneddon, as well as the many communities and singers all over the country who have supported the Canadian Chamber Choir over the years. We’re so grateful to you all!”

The Juno Awards will take place in Calgary on April 3rd. See you there!
