May 26, 2020 –

Join Canadian Chamber Choir artistic director Dr. Julia Davids every week for #TechniqueTuesday! Hot on the heels of the publication of the second edition of her book, “Vocal Technique” (now expanded to include contemporary styles) we’re thrilled to bring you this series of two-minute videos offering vocal exercises, warm-ups and more.

Over the past 20 years, the CCC has developed a range of interactive choral workshops that stress vocal health, improved sound production and group musicality. In a normal year, we present dozens of workshops in cities large and small. But with our travel activities and in-person events on hold for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19, we’re really starting to miss working with roomfuls of singers from coast to coast to coast.

We want to do our part to keep Canada singing and make a positive impact on choral artistry in this country and beyond – so we’ve gone digital with a weekly web series, Two Minutes for Technique.

Help us spread the word to the singers and choristers in your life… our first mini-workshop premieres on June 2 at 10am central. Grab a straw (don’t worry – we’ll explain why next week) and tune in!
